“One-Man” Bands

Do you want some upbeat live music that everyone can get up and dance to, but you just don’t have the budget for a full band? Consider using a “one-man” band.

These performers play live instruments and sing together with either recorded backing tracks or computer synthesized backing tracks. This makes them sound like a much larger band.

You might have a live guitar player singer who has the drums, bass and keyboard parts of the song on some sort of backing track.

Sometimes a lone guitar and vocal is not going to be the best thing to get up and dance the “Carolina Shag” to. But, when you add the backing tracks, the song suddenly comes alive and that gets the people dancing.
